CAKE SMASH PHOTOGRAPHY BRISTOL

Cake Smash photographer in Bristol

What a fun way to celebrate your baby's first birthday!

A cake smash photoshoot in Bristol is a great way to capture your little one's very first birthday.  They get to eat cake and smash it all up and then have some splashy fun in the bath tub to get all clean again.

I can do any theme or colours requested if given enough time to source props and backdrops and balloons.  If you want to request a particular theme, then to be safe and make sure everything arrives in time I ask for the booking and deposit at least 4-6 weeks before your child's birthday.  I would suggest making sure that you book in before their birthday to make sure that you get the photos back so you can include them on birthday invites or thank you cards too.

Before the cake part of the session starts I will get some nice portraits of your child before they get messy.  You are welcome to join in to get some family shots before the cake smashing starts.

We will then introduce them to the specially made cake.  The cake is provided in the session fee and you can request colours that you would like.  I normally get my baker to do 6 inch 3 or 4 layered cake and you can also take this home with you in a box if you wish to save the remaining cake for later!

I also provide an outfit in the chosen theme colours.  You are also welcome to bring your own if you want your child to wear something that you may have already bought for them to wear.

Family Photographer Bristol

The cake smash photo session in Bristol will last about an hour.  You can arrive with your child wearing the outfit that you would like the portraits in.  You can then change the outfit if you want to for the actual smash part particularly if you don't want certain clothing to get messy!

The smashing of the cake takes about 15 mins.  Some babies like it, and some don't.  Please be prepared for tears or fuss if they do not like the texture of the cake on their hands.  For encouragement you can stick their favourite snacks in the back of the cake, I can also provide wooden spoons if they want to bash the cake.  If your child has allergies I would recommend you bring your own cake.
