Christmas is always so much fun in the studio, and every year I look forward to welcoming families back for my Christmas mini sessions.

My 2026 Christmas photoshoots in Portishead, near Bristol, are now open for booking across a selection of dates. This year there will be two beautiful traditional Christmas scenes, perfect for children, families and pets, as well as my magical digital Christmas backdrops for something a little different.

Expect plenty of festive fun, natural smiles and beautifully styled Christmas photographs, without any stiff or awkward posing. Whether you are looking for updated family photos, Christmas gifts for grandparents or something special for your Christmas cards, there will be plenty of variety to choose from.

Choose from 20 magical Christmas scenes, each designed to create something completely different from a traditional studio portrait.

Your children, family or pets will be photographed against a plain grey backdrop, with the lighting carefully planned to match your chosen scene. Every detail, from the direction of the light to the shadows and colour tones, is considered so that the finished photograph looks natural and believable.

The final composite image is then created entirely by hand in Photoshop. No AI technology is used, and nothing is generated at the click of a button.

Each photograph is individually edited, blended and finished using the specialist compositing techniques I have developed since I began offering these sessions in 2015.
