I have been visiting the Confetti files since 2018. I love going and every year they look different depending on the weather again. Last year they were the same height nearly as my adult clients!

The Delphiniums create an absolutely breath taking backdrop for your family photos, transforming every snapshot into a vivid memory that captures the essence of the moment. With their tall, spiky blooms in an array of vibrant colours—ranging from deep blues and purples to soft pinks and whites—these flowers add a touch of elegance and charm to any picture. Children, in particular, find immense joy in frolicking among the towering Delphiniums, as they provide an enchanting playground where they can run freely, explore, and even play hide-and-seek. The flowers are not just visually appealing; their gentle sway in the breeze can evoke a sense of whimsy and delight, making them the perfect setting for candid family moments. Additionally, the garden is thoughtfully designed with little winding paths that meander through the rows of flowers. These paths ensure that visitors can navigate the area without trampling the delicate blooms, preserving the beauty of the landscape while allowing everyone to enjoy the experience fully. As families stroll along these pathways, they can take their time, soaking in the vibrant colors and sweet scents that fill the air. This careful arrangement not only enhances the aesthetic appeal of the garden but also creates a safe environment for children to explore. The combination of stunning floral beauty, playful interaction, and well-maintained pathways makes the Delphiniums an ideal spot for capturing cherished family moments that will be treasured for years to come.

What do I wear to my photoshoot at the Confetti Fields?

The Delphinium flowers at the Confetti Fields are gorgeous pastel colours. Whites, Lilacs, deep Purples, light pinks and Hot pink. So spring pastel colours look great in block colours.

Avoid big loud patterns when selecting outfits for photography sessions, as they can distract from the main subject of the photo, which is often the person being photographed. Instead, opt for solid block colours, which tend to create a clean and cohesive look. Solid colours help to draw attention to your facial expressions and body language without the interference of overwhelming designs. If you prefer to incorporate patterns, consider using smaller, more subtle designs that won't dominate the image. These smaller patterns can add a touch of interest without causing the photos to appear too busy or chaotic. Ultimately, the goal is to ensure that the focus remains on you, allowing your personality and emotions to shine through in the images.

Take a look at these ideas below:

The Confetti Fields can be dusty/sandy and bumpy to walk on. Please just bear this in mind when deciding on footwear. High heels would probably not be suitable for walking in and they won't show in the photos anyway.

The British weather can be unpredictable at times so please check the forecast before coming to the fields. If it is going to rain then bring your welly boots and a pretty umbrella!
